The Metropole draws inspiration from that extraordinary era not to recreate the past, but to capture its spirit. Soaring architecture, Art-Deco influences, refined details, and a warm atmosphere recall a time when an evening out was an occasion in itself.

Here, the elegance of the 1920s and 1930s is reinterpreted for a new generation, blending historic character with modern comfort and flexibility to create a memorable setting for weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, and live performances.
A LIVING PIECE OF HISTORY
Some of the Metropole’s most distinctive furnishings carry a remarkable history of their own.

The venue features original furniture designed by celebrated architect Timothy Pflueger, whose work helped define California’s Art-Deco era. These authentic pieces are rich in geometry, craftsmanship, and elegant proportions to bring the sophistication of the period directly into the space.

Complemented by original artwork from Oakland artist Brad Stewart, the collection gives the Metropole a distinctly local character and a sense of history that cannot simply be recreated with décor.

Extend the Metropole experience beyond the venue with optional door-to-door chauffeured transportation aboard a Bentley Turbo RL or Bentley Mulsanne. Both are long wheel based providing more room and comfort. Available for airport transfers, weddings and special occasions, VIP transportation, Paramount and Fox show nights, private dinners, and Napa and Sonoma Wine Country excursions.
